Our vision and path to long term success is to create educational opportunities for under represented under served girls age 11-17, but to also create networks of mentors with undergraduate women in related disciplines. Additionally, we will instruct ICT Educators from the girl's schools. The purpose of which is to establish a long support system from workshop to home, to school and hopefully all the way to university.

Susan Gold
Susan Gold is Professor of the Practice at Northeastern University's College of Art, Media + Design. She is also the founder and organizer of the Global Game Jam® (GGJ) a 501(c)3 non-profit established in CA, USA. The organization which is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place annually at over 700 locations, in 100+ countries around the world. Established to push the boundaries of innovation and experimentation in the genre but also as a way to create communities of game developers where there once was none.

Yetunde Folajimi
With specialization in Game Artificial Intelligence, Dr Yetunde Folajimi is a Research Fellow at Northeastern University College of Arts, Media and Design and a Faculty at the University of Ibadan Department of Computer Science, Nigeria where she uses novel perspectives in computer Science to prepare a new generation of African geeks. She is also the CEO of Global Center for IT Empowerment & Education (iTEE), a nonprofit passionate about bridging digital divide through training, workshops, conferences, community outreach etc and the founder of Nigeria Geek Girls Collaborative, a network of girls and women with the objective of mentoring and boosting their confidence and interests in technology through summer camps, hackathons, meet-ups, creativity and fun activities.
